You’re tired of feeling like something is off.

you just want to feel confident and stop overthinking your relationships.

Relationships are hard work, even under the best of circumstances. But when you’re someone who’s used to living in your head, always analyzing, overthinking, planning, and focusing on making the “right” decisions, relationships take on a whole new level of mental energy.

You might find yourself constantly second-guessing your choices or thinking in circles. Maybe you keep wondering if you’re the problem or if it’s your partner, family member, or friend. Or maybe it’s both? Your head is swimming. Maybe if you could just try harder, communicate better, or stop overreacting then everything would be fine.

Therapy provides the structure needed to zoom out and see the forest instead of focusing on each and every individual tree in minute detail. That process typically starts with exploring your past experiences that affect how you show up in relationships today. Once we have a view of the big picture, then we can work on zooming back in on specific relational patterns and expectations shaping your day-to-day interactions.

Let’s stop the cycle of overthinking and look honestly at what’s happening and why you’re feeling stuck. Whether you decide to stay, rebuild, or move on, my goal is to help you find clarity, self-compassion, and a sense of calm in whatever comes next.

Relationships can feel just right, or like something is off. Gain perspective and learn to better communicate through mental health therapy.

Sound like you?

Disconnected in your relationship and unsure how, or if, you can get that closeness back

Torn between staying and leaving, afraid of making the “wrong” decision

Feeling the pressure to keep up appearances or move forward when you’re unsure

Exhausted from trying to hold it all together and feeling relationship anxiety regularly

Here’s what we’ll do together

Relationship counseling can create space to understand what’s working, what’s missing, and what you truly need.

Relationships are hard and whether you’ve been together for months or years, there will always be some kind of work to do. In therapy, we’ll take a step back and work to make sense of what has you feeling unsure.

Together, we’ll explore your relationship patterns, how past experiences, fears, or expectations might be showing up in the present, and uncover what’s getting in the way of feeling connected and secure.

We’ll work on understanding your emotions and what’s fueling them as well as examine your communication patterns and their role in what you’re feeling.

Ultimately we’ll work to help you learn to tune into your own voice, trust your instincts, and gain the clarity to move confidently forward, whether that means healing within your relationship or finding peace in making a different choice.

At the end of the day, I want you to know:

You can love someone deeply and still question what’s best for you.

Questions?

FAQs

Do you see individuals and couples/families?

Right now I primarily work with individuals, not couples or families. There may be times when it is helpful to have your partner or family member join a session or two, but you remain the main focus of our work together.

Working individually can help you gain clarity about what you’re feeling, what you need, and how you want to show up in your relationship. It’s not about taking sides or “fixing” one person, rather, it’s about helping you better understand yourself so you can bring that insight back into your partnership.

Can I work with you individually if my partner and I are in couples or family counseling?

Absolutely. It’s actually quite common for someone to work with both a couples/family therapist and an individual therapist at the same time. Each serves a different purpose.

Couples and family therapy focus on the relationships themselves like exploring communication, patterns, and how you and your partner or family member relate to one another. Individual therapy gives you space to explore your own thoughts, emotions, and history outside of that dynamic.

Do you only address romantic relationship concerns?

Not at all. While I often work with women exploring romantic relationship concerns, the themes we talk about like communication, boundaries, self-worth, and emotional patterns show up in all kinds of relationships. Whether it’s with a partner, friend, family member, or even a colleague we can explore what’s getting in the way of feeling connected and understood.
